We were at a dead end this year, we could not find or think of any new place to take pictures at. We scoured the internet and searched and still came up empty handed. So.. we took new measures. We set out to the streets of Springfield, sometimes the best places come from exploring. My Mom and I went out one Sunday seeking to find maybe one or two new places and what we came across was far better. We realized just how easy it is to see only "the bigger picture". We decided to drive all over down town Springfield, up and down streets I have been on a million times and never once saw the small cute doorway, the graffitied alley, or maybe even a small slice of paradise shoved between two 10 story buildings. What I'm saying is, don't get caught up in going places fast, or having a one track mind. Smell the street food and look outside your windows and you might just find something amazing right next to you. That is what I hope to show all of you.
We could not have asked for a better day to do Jades Senior photos. We had so much fun just walking around and finding new things and places to shoot with. My absolute favorite place that we took pictures at just happens to be taken at a bridge near our old home. I was completely against doing a shoot at this bridge, I thought it was ugly and dingy and just blah. But now I LOVE the photos at the bridge. Once we got to the bridge and started shooting I really looked at the bridge and everything it had to offer and it was beautiful in its own way. It was rusty and had graffiti all over it but it showed love stories written out and had such a pretty view and a little creek below. I hope you all enjoy these pictures and maybe even have a new found appreciation for the smaller less "pretty" things you might see or have in your life.
